Pippa Middleton tipped as 2011 Rear of the Year

Pippa Middleton tipped as 2011 Rear of the Year

Just to confirm our thoughts about the delicious Pippa we took this image down the pub last night, to get some feedback from the boys. But we are frustrated as the comments were sensational but none suitable to be published in a main stream men’s online magazine. The only comment we consider suitable on QETY was this that came in via email.

The email – quote – ‘Pippa is simply divine she makes me drool, the best ‘eye candy I have seen in years!’

‘We are pretty sure Pippa Middleton will win the  2011 Rear of the Year Award!’

RBS CEO Stephen Hester controversial £7.7 Million Pay Package

Here we go again another obscene multi million UK pound pay day for a banker who works for RBS Royal Bank of Scotland.

There is only one word to describe why

RBS CEO Stephen Hester

RBS CEO Stephen Hester

Will be paid a controversial £7.7 million pay package, the word is OUTRAGEOUS!

RBS Report – quote – Stephen Hestor was awarded an additional £4.5 million potential shares windfall on top of his £2 million annual bonus and £1.2 million salary for 2010, which was not originally revealed under the Project Merlin agreement with the Government to rein in pay.

RBS also admitted it paid 323 code staff – those deemed to be in risk-sensitive roles – £375 million last year.

How can this be allowed in a bank that has had to bailed out by the UK Government and is now 83% owned by the taxpayer.

‘No wonder people take to the streets to get involved in demonstrations!’

AIB Allied Irish Banks to Axe 2000 Jobs

AIB Allied Irish Banks to Axe 2000 Jobs

AIB Allied Irish Banks to Axe 2000 Jobs

This is outrageous news once again indicating that the UK Government and commercial and industrial business are not reading off the same hymn sheet. The government have been talking up the economy, when the reality is how AIB Allied Irish Banks see the economic climate which is woeful. As they announce plans – quote -  AIB yesterday announced it expects to axe over 2,000 jobs by the end of next year. – more – AIB – the Allied Irish Banks group – recorded a 10.4billion euro (£9.2billion) loss last year. – It said costs needed to be lowered, with jobs to go on a phased basis during 2011 and 2012.

AIB, once Ireland’s largest bank but now 92.8 per cent state-owned, could need another 13.3billion euro -  £11.7billion  bailout in a worst-case scenario.

‘AIB -  Another  Industry Bust unbelievable that they keep getting bailed out of debt!’

UK Mortgage Payments to Rise by £100 Per Month

More than 3.5 million people in UK with home mortgages may be faced with the frightening prospect of their mortgage payments soaring by up to £1,200 a year.

UK Mortgage Payments to Rise by £100 Per Month

UK Mortgage Payments to Rise by £100 Per Month

But as usual the people paying the money are the last to be told about any increase in house mortgage repayments. The reasons are that the Bank of England official forecast  is a quadrupling of interest rates within a year, from the current record low of 0.5 per cent to two per cent.

Analysts say – quote – That would mean a family paying £635 a month on a £150,000 tracker could see repayments soar by more than £100 a month to £750 – at least an extra £1,200 a year at a time when food, petrol and energy prices are also soaring. Interest rates have been at 0.5 per cent since March 2009 but inflation is now over double the Bank of England’s target rate of two per cent.

‘How can the UK home market improve when surprises like this repayment hike are announced ‘out of the blue’ by the Bank of England!’

Non graduates average £17,800 while graduates earn £29,900. So it pays big dividends to complete your studies. Because over a forty year career a graduate is going to earn a cool £500,000 UK Pounds more than the non graduate.

ONS statistician Jamie Jenkins said – quote“This analysis shows there is a big difference between average earnings for graduates and non-graduates,”more - “We also see a big difference between them by age, with graduates’ earnings not peaking until they are in their early 50s. After this age, average wages decreased, as the higher earners leave the labour market earlier.”

‘Come on guys keep studying!’

UK Streets Littered with Greggs, McDonald’s and Subway wrappers

Mamchester is one of the top five cities in the UK and they have problem with street litter.

Greggs, McDonald’s and Subway wrappers

Greggs, McDonald’s and Subway wrappers

Over 41 percent of the street litter is made up of Greggs, McDonald’s and Subway wrappers.

This is the findings of a ‘Keep Britain Tidy’ survey and the authorities in Mamchester had this to say – quote – “A large number of litter collectors, both on foot and using mechanical street sweepers, operate across the city.

“We also work closely with businesses and residents to make sure they are aware of their responsibilities to keep the city centre clean and tidy, as well as prosecuting people we find dropping litter.”

In Wigan Fast food also makes up nearly half of all litter – 49 per cent – on the streets of Wigan.

Take note guys this is being published in the nutrition channel as a warning shot because what not to eat in excess are fast foods

‘Not impressed by these findings!’
